She is a New Orleans native who owns a hair salon in her hometown. The hair salon has been in her family for many decades and she takes a tremendous amount of pride in it. She considers her staff part of her family because they have stood with her through thick and thin, even through the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Through out that whole tragedy, her staff helped her pick up the pieces and redeem her nearly destroyed shop. After working hard to save up, Isla has finally finished her renovations, she plans on throwing a party in celebration of the remodel and 70 year anniversary. The creole in her is drawn to bold looks, so she will be wearing this stunning red and white printed goddess kaftan for the big celebration, adorned in gold accessories.
